In January-October Russky Ugol (Russian Coal) mined 11.4 million tons of power-generating coal, up by 5% YoY.
Amur region and Krasnodar Krai were the leaders. In particular Amur region yielded 2.7 million tons of coal, up by 8% YoY, and Krasnodar Krai – 5.1 million tons, up by 7%.
The Stepnoy open-pit in the republic of Khakasia yielded 3.5 million tons of coal. (Ukrainian metal)
