Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works has started supplying rails for the major operator of Kazakh railroad.
According to the contract R65 and R50 rails will be delivered in stages. The first batch of 2 thousand tons has already been delivered to the customer, and 2 thousand tons more will be delivered this year.
“Except for rails we also supply H-beam rebars, wire rods and sheets to Kazakhstan”, the company managing director Anatoly Schetinin said. (Ukrainian metal)
