In January-October Ukraine exported 1.83 million tons of pig iron valued at $572.039 million, down by 13.9%, but up by 26.8% YoY respectively.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the main exports went to US (56.86%), Italy (23.99%) and Turkey (8.75%).
At the same time Ukraine imported 1.779 thousand tons of pig iron valued at $909 thousand against 1.622 thousand tons valued at $549 thousand in January-October 2016. The main suppliers were Russia (85.05%), Germany (14.73%) and Denmark (0.22%). (Ukrainian metal)
