The Donelectrostal Electrometallurgical Works intends to start producing rebars in Q4 2018.
And its own steel-smelting manufacture project will begin in 2019.
The mini-mill will specialize in the manufacture of hot-rolled rebars. The project capacity of the first stage is 160 thousand tons a year, with the possible increase to 250 thousand tons.
The company has already purchased rebars-manufacturing machinery valued at 310 million rubles. Total investments are estimated at 3.3 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
