Evraz ZSMK specialists have developed the technique to produce new kinds of rails. Preliminary tests have been successfully carried out at the works.
The new DT400IK rails are the improved version of DT370IK for complex sites of railroad, with wear resistance 13% higher than ordinary rails.
Another new product is DT350VS400 rails for the high-speed trains of up to 400 km per hour. They can withstand the change of temperature of 110 degrees and have the axle load 30% higher than provided for by the international standards. (Ukrainian metal)
