In January-September Kuzbassrazrezugol produced 34.8 thousand tons of coal, up by 4.5% YoY.
Coking coal accounted for 4.6 million tons, up by 1.6% from the target. Baykaimskaya mine yielded the most coking coal – 850 thousand tons.
Since the start of the year the company has shipped 31.4 million tons of coal to consumers, with 22.6 million tons being exports, up from 21.5 million tons in 9 months of 2016.
To the local market Kuzbassrazrezugol supplied 8.8 million tons of coal, up from 7.8 million tons.
Factories processed 30.2 million tons of coal, up by 1.2 million tons from the target.
By the end of the year the company intends to have mined some 10.8 million tons of coal more. (Ukrainian metal)
