Mikheyevsky Mining and Processing Works intends to switch to the technology of three-stage ore grinding.

Unlike the current two-stage technology the new one will allow for finer grinding of ore, resulting in the increase of copper content from 85% to 90%.

Outotec (Finland) will supply the main machinery. In particular, the processing factory will get two additional ball mills.

The switch to the three-stage grinding is planned for autumn 2018. Investments into the project total 3.743 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
