Ukrainian metal companies expect the Turkish import duties to be lifted.
At present the two countries are negotiating trade.
“We hope that as the result of the talks duties on our products will be cancelled altogether or step by step. Any country is interested in the exports of high value added products. The market of Turkey is very important for us, it’s second only after EU”, Ukrmetallurgprom president Alexander Kalenkov said.
According to him metal companies also hope that EC will not impose antidumping duties on Ukrainian hot-rolled coils. The final decision on the matter will be taken in October. (Ukrainian metal)
