Zaporozhye Titanium and Magnesium Works has passed a certification of one of the largest Chinese consumers of titanium sponge – GoldSky.
“Thus ZTMK has received the right to supply titanium sponge to GoldSky”, the company reported.
The passing of certification of major world titanium buyers is a part of ZTMK sales market expansion program.
“Thanks to ZTMK entering the world market Ukraine now has a chance to become a powerful player in the so-called “titanium club”, which comprises of China, Japan, USA, Russia and Kazakhstan”, according to the company.
ZTMK estimates the world titanium sponge market at 160-170 thousand tons per year. Analysts say that the market will continue growing, and the increase could amount to 40% by 2025. (Ukrainian metal)
