The gold output of Nordgold, controlled by the Russian businessman Alexei Mordashov, increased by 15% YoY, to 486,200 ounces in January-June, the company said in a statement on August 28.

Combined production grew due to a 28% increase of output at the Berezitovy mine, to a 21% increase of output at the Taparko mine, to a 13% rise in production at the Bissa mine, and a 7% increase of the Suzdal mine output. New mine Bouly produced 65,100 ounces of gold in the period, the company said.

In April-June, the refined gold output of the company rose by 3% QoQ, to 246,800 ounces of gold equivalent due to an increased amount of ore refining and of the extraction ratio. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
