In January-July Ukraine exported 22.687 million tons of iron ore and concentrate valued at $1.545 billion.

According to the State Fiscal Service, iron ore and concentrate share in the total export in monetary terms was 6.5%.

China imported the most – $442.523 million (28.6%), Poland – $165.157 million (10.7%) and Slovakia – $163.31 million (10.6%). Other countries purchased $774.296 million worth of iron ore (50.1%).

In July Ukraine exported $54.395 million worth of iron ore and concentrate to China, $22.961 to Slovakia and $20.002 million to Poland. Other countries imported $85.187 million worth of iron ore.

In January-July Ukraine imported 204.886 thousand tons of iron ore and concentrate valued at $21.795 million. The largest supplier was Russia ($21.751 million, or 99.8%).

Iron ore share in the total volume of imports in monetary terms amounted to 0.08%. (Ukrainian metal)
