In January-June Neryungri-Metallik, a part of Nordgold, mining for gold at the Gross deposits in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), produced 768 kg of gold (24.7 thousand ounces).
According to the company statement, in Q2 gold output totaled 463 kg (14.9 thousand ounces), up from 305 kg or 9.8 thousand ounces in Q1.
In 6 months the company mined and processed 2 million tons of ore, with 1.2 million tons being ore from the Gross deposits and 0.8 million tons from the Tabornoye deposits. (Ukrainian metal)
