Russian retailer Magnit and metals giant Norilsk Nickel were put on Forbes’ list of the world’s 100 most innovative companies, according to a statement on Forbes’ Web site.
Magnit obtained the 53rd place on the list and Norilsk Nickel holds the 63rd position.
Software developer Salesforce regained the top spot as the world’s most innovative company, Tesla descended to the second position, and Amazon climbed to the third place.
Companies are ranked by their innovation premium: the difference between their market capitalization and the net present value of cash flows from existing businesses. To be included, firms need seven years of public financial data and $10 billion in market cap. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
