Russia: OZRK output up in H1 2017

In January-June Omolonskaya Gold Ore Company produced 2.6 tons of gold, up by 45% YoY.

The main yield was from the Tsokol and Birkachan deposits.

Gold contents in ore have grown by 12% since the start of the year, to 5.3 g per ton.

In Q2 gold mining increased by 9%, to 94%.

This year the Kubakinskaya gold-extraction factory, which processes OZRK gold, will process 850 thousand tons of ore.

At present the Omolon reserves are estimated at 40.4 tons of gold and 452 tons of silver. (Ukrainian metal)
