In January-June railroad transportation of non-ferrous metals to and from the seaports decreased by 2.3% YoY, to 1.93 million tons.

In particular, according to the Russian Railroads, exports totaled 1.88 million tons, down by 3.8%, and imports – 53.53 thousand tons, up 2.2-fold.

Railroad transportation of non-ferrous metals for exports to the port St. Petersburg dropped to 929.01 thousand tons, by 10.2% YoY. Port Novorossiysk received 428.59 thousand tons, down by 8.1%, Vladivostok – 250.32 thousand tons, up by 60.8%.

St. Petersburg accounted for 49.5% of all export deliveries, Novorossiysk – 23%, and Vladivostok – 13.3%.

Imports from Vladivostok totaled 23.82 thousand tons, up 2.9-fold, and from port Vostochny – 16.2 thousand tons, up by 58%. (Ukrainian metal)
