The Central Mining and Processing Works has implemented an energy saving model, which would decrease the product prime cost.
According to the company CEO Dmitry Shevchik, it now uses frequency regulation systems. They allow decreasing electricity usage and increasing the lifecycle of the equipment. At present the company operates 12 electric devices to control pumps, which decrease electricity usage by a quarter. The experts say this will save the company 2 million kW-h, or some 3 million UAH.
