VIZ-Stal has started the second stage of its machinery modernization.
The combined total of both stages is 350 million rubles.
This year the company will put 30 stands of bell type furnace in operation. By 2021 the company will have replaced 70% of its bell type furnaces.
VIZ-Stal is a major world and the largest in Russia manufacturer of transformer steel with the capacity of 180 thousand tons per year. Its share in the world’s transformer steel output is 5.9%. (Ukrainian metal)
