In April Zlatoust Iron and Steel Works electric arc welding shop No. 2 produced 3880 tons of liquid steel with the target of 4770 tons.
The decrease of output, according to the deputy manufacturing director Oleg Rodionov, has to do with the shortage of scrap in early April.
Shop No. 3 was in the same situation – because of the shortage of scrap it produced only 469 tons of 554 tons needed.
Altogether in April ZEMZ produced 4349 tons of metal and shipped 2536 tons to customers. (Ukrainian metal)
