In April Ukraine produced 5.978 million tons of iron ore, down by 323.8 thousand tons, or by 5.1% MoM.

The average daily output of concentrate and sinter ore in April was 155.9 thousand tons, up by 2 thousand tons MoM, that of sinter and pellets dropped from 49.4 thousand tons to 43.4 thousand tons.

In January-April Ukraine produced 23.47 million tons of iron ore, down by 1.55 million tons YoY.

Ingulets GOK slightly increased output in April, while PGOK and Krivoy Rog Iron Ore Industrial Complex decreased output by 169 and by 84 thousand tons respectively,

Local deliveries to Ukrainian works dropped to 2545 thousand tons, down by 100 thousand tons MoM. Azovstal decreased local purchases by 148 thousand tons, while Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works increased by 80 thousand tons.

Local prices for iron ore raw materials increased by 50-150 UAH per ton. The April price for sinter ore was 1350 UAH per ton, concentrate – 2200 UAH, sinter – 2300 UAH, pellets – 3000 UAH per ton.

As to the exports, according to the State Fiscal Service, the average price in April decreased by $6.4, or by 7.6%, to $77.5 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
