In January-April Vostsibugol mined 3.773 million tons of coal in Irkutsk region.
The company operates at three open-pit mines: Cheremkhovugol, Tulunugol and Zheronsky. Tulunugol yields the most coal – 2.352 million tons were mined in 4 months. Cheremkhovugol mined 1.197 million tons of coal and Zheronsky – 223 thousand tons.
This year the enterprise plans to keep last year level, having mined 10.7 million tons of coal.
Some 75% of the Vostsibugol coal is consumed by the power company Irkutskenergo. (Ukrainian metal)
