Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works has finished the planned repair of converter No. 3 and the continuous casting machine No. 5.
According to the company statement, the repairs cost 64 million rubles. The converter capacity is 1.2 million tons of steel per year, and of CCM – 1 million tons.
The oxygen-converter shop includes 3 converters with the total capacity of 3.5 million tons and 3 CCMs with 3 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
