Deputy economy minister Sergey Nazarov declared that Russia needed no coal from the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, occupied by the militants.
“Each month we supply some 1 million tons of coal to Ukraine. But we only deliver coking coal, not power-generating coal”, he added.
Nazarov also noted that there were no coal deliveries from the so-called DPR and LPR.
“Our attitude towards these “republics” has changed a bit. They reorient their supplies to the third countries. Russia does not need this coal”, he claimed. (Ukrainian metal)
