Severstal forecasts that in 2017 the bar market will grow by 3-5%.
At the same time at present the market is characterized by the decrease in consumption (by 25% from 2013 to 2016), as well as excessive capacities.
In 2016 bar consumption was on the level of 7.912 million tons, with capacities loading at 62%. In 2017 the consumption is expected to increase to 8.3 million tons, and capacity to 66%. (Ukrainian metal)
