Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works, a part of Mechel, has produced rolled metal for the assembly of 2 tunnels in Samara within the reconstruction of the central road – the Moscow highway.
The reconstruction is carried out in preparation for the World Cup 2018.
In the construction of transport structures Samara uses sheet, beams and rebars produced at ChMK. For the construction of the tunnels the works has produced 10 thousand tons of rolled metal, which has been delivered by Mechel-Service.
ChMK has also produced rebars for the site of the legendary Il-2 plane. (Ukrainian metal)
