In 2016 the Federal Cargo Company transported 15.6 million tons of ore, up by 30% YoY.

The largest volumes were carried from KMAruda to Tulachermet, and then exported through Russian and Baltic ports.

The increase in ore transportation was noted at the Krasnoyarsk (by 146% YoY), Sverdlovsk (by 117%), Zabaikalsk (by 107%), Northern (by 76%), Oktyabrsk (by 54%), South-Ural (by 34%), Eastern-Siberian (by 28%) and Far-Eastern (by 9%) railroads. (Ukrainian metal)
