Russia: railroads want coal transportation tariff increased

The Russian Railroads wants to increase coal transportation tariff next year due to the high increase of its price in the last three months.

The company reported this at the meeting with the Transport Vice Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich.

Coal started to grow in price in August, since then the coking coal price almost tripled, to $308 per ton. This increased exports in January-October by 9.3% YoY, to 123.6 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
