Evonik Industries (Germany) has started the overall quality certification of the Zaporozhye Titanium and Magnesium Works products, a part of Group DF.
As the result of the certification ZTMK intends to receive the right to sell its products to the German company. In particular ZTMK plans to supply titanium tetrachloride.
The parties started negotiations in 2014 and trial batches of titanium tetrachloride have already been sent to Germany a couple of times.
Entering the global market of titanium tetrachloride is a part of ZTMK strategy aimed at increasing product mix and diversification of income sources. (Ukrainian metal)
