In January-September ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih produced 4.27 million tons of rolled metal, up by 10.8% YoY.
According to the company statement, steel smelting went up by 8.8%, to 4.72 million tons, while pig iron production increased by 15.8%, to 4.52 million tons. The company also produced 7.77 million tons of sinter, 692 thousand tons of iron ore and 1.51 million tons of coke, up by 11.2%, 9% and 7.3% YoY respectively. On the other hand, iron ore concentrate output dropped by 12.1%, to 6.56 million tons.
In September AMKR produced 475 thousand tons of rolled metal, 411 thousand tons of steel, 404 thousand tons of pig iron, 718 thousand tons of sinter, 165 thousand tons of coke, 68 thousand tons of iron ore and 683 thousand tons of concentrate against 500 thousand tons of rolled metal, 505 thousand tons of steel, 503 thousand tons of pig iron, 840 thousand tons of sinter, 170 thousand tons of coke, 56 thousand tons of iron ore and 535 thousand tons of concentrate in August.
