In January-June Ukraine exported 1017.78 thousand tons of steel-making pig iron valued at $192.98 million, up by 27.8% and down by 11.5% YoY respectively.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the main importers of Ukrainian pig iron were Turkey (31.53%), USA (26.58%) and Italy (24.87%).
In January-June Ukraine imported 1.08 thousand tons of pig iron valued at $361 thousand tons as opposed to 2.69 thousand tons at $924 thousand in H1 2015. The main supplier of pig iron was Russia (72.65%), followed by Germany (17.68%) and Italy (7.73%). (Ukrainian metal)
