In January-May Ukraine exported $2713.67 million worth of ferrous scrap metal, down by 25.5% YoY.

According to the State Fiscal Service, ferrous metals accounted for 19.81% of all export revenues, down from 23.53% in January-May 2015.

In May Ukraine exported $641.37 million worth of scrap.

At the same time Ukraine imported $268.65 million worth of scrap, up by 14.3% YoY, with $71.07 million in May.

Metal wares exports fell in January-May by 38.5% YoY, to $261.76 million ($52.23 million in May), while imports grew by 29%, to $237.29 million ($44.13 million in May). (Ukrainian metal)
