In January-April ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih produced 1.9 million tons of rolled metal, up by 11.8% YoY.
Steel smelting went up by 5.6%, to 2.13 million tons, pig iron output increased by 11.7%, to 2 million tons, all YoY. Coke production grew by 10.4%, to 670 thousand tons, that of iron ore – by 20.6%, to 322 thousand tons. At the same time iron ore concentrate output dropped by 0.3%, to 3.3 million tons.
In April AMKR produced 509 thousand tons of rolled metal, 548 thousand tons of steel, 530 thousand tons of pig iron, 871 thousand tons of sinter, 166 thousand tons of coke, 83 thousand tons of iron ore and 725 thousand tons of iron ore concentrate. (Ukrainian metal)
