ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih plans to invest around $190 million into its development in 2016.
“Our goal is $190 million. We shall see if we can do it this year”, said the company CEO Paramjit Kahlon.
Last year AMKR invested 5.17 billion UAH into development. The money was spent on the construction of pulverized coal injection system at blast furnace #9, reconstruction of coking batteries, overhaul of blast furnace #6, putting into operation the new gas-purifying machine at converter #5, reconstruction of gas-purifying machine at converter #6, and various construction works at sintering machine #6 at the sintering shop #2.
