In 2016 Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works has started producing 8 new types of products, with the most of them coming from the cold-rolled shop.
The works has good prospects of developing trades on European market.
“We have produced a trial batch of cold-rolled DC01 coils according to EN 10130 for Raven from Slovakia”, said the company CEO Yuri Zinchenko.
Sheet-rolling shop produces plate with limitations on chemical composition and thickness.
“The local market of rectangular section pipes used in construction, agriculture and machine-building sees some revival. So our specialists get more work. They have increased the range of section pipes”, he added.
The works is also involved in getting new orders.
“Our cold-rolled shop is doing a trial batch of low-carbon steel, as well as boron-containing plate according to EN 10083-3:2006”, Zinchenko said. (Ukrainian metal)
