Since the early 1990-th Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after Dzerzhinsky has been stocking the material assets of the mobilization reserve.

In 1993-1994 the works used them for its own needs. In particular it used 3601 tons of silicomanganese, 2735 tons of ferrosilicon, 14 tons of secondary aluminum and 14 tons of nickel. The works never returned the assets.

In 2005 Dniepropetrovsk region prosecutor office filed an action against DMKD demanding the recovery of 101.19 million UAH. But the trial has always been postponed. In 2015 the Commercial Court allowed the works not to return assets to the state. (Ukrainian Metal)
