Representatives of the state enterprise Selidovugol held a meeting with the head of the Ministry of energy and coal industry Vladimir Demchishyn to discuss the difficult situation in the company.
Prior to this unknown people interfered with the operation of Novogrodovskaya mine, a part of Selidovugol. The company representatives asked the minister to help protect the mine.
He said that mines that could work and be profitable would not be short of support. And no such mine would be closed.
Selidovugol miners still have to be paid 85% of their December 2015 salary. In early March the ministry plans to pay some 35% of this debt. As to the current payments, the miners have already been paid January salary in full and 25% of the February salary. (Ukrainian Metal)
