In 2015 Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works and Azovstal offered 92 new types of products to their clients.
The product range included new slabs, rolled metal, pipes, rails and shapes.
Ilyich started producing S320GD galvanized rolled steel according to EN 10346, rolled sheets of 30MnB5 steel according to En 10083-3, low-carbon rolled steel DC01 according to EN 10130, as well as rectangular section pipes. Such products are used in machine building, agriculture and construction.
Azovstal started producing crane rails, and completed an important order for Spain (P355NL1 8-30 mm thick rolled sheet according to EN 10028-3). One of the most difficult orders came from Egypt. The client had special demands to size, control and contents.
“2 years ago it took Azovstal 3 months to make technical documentation and produce a trial batch of new products. Now we can do this in 15 days”, said the company CEO Enver Tsikishvili. (Ukrainian metal)
