In 2015 Zaporizhstal increased metal exports by 6.2% YoY, to 2.9 million tons. Metal was delivered to Europe, Near East, North Africa and other regions.
Zaporizhstal increased its sales to EU countries by 20%, supplying to France, Italy and the Netherlands. Exports to Eastern and Southern Europe went up due to river transportation via the Zaporozhye river port. At the same time, because of the increase of local railroad transportation tariffs, exports to Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Estonia and Lithuania fell by 13%.
According to Forbes, Zaporizhstal is among TOP-3 largest exporters of Ukraine. (Ukrainian metal)
