In 2015 Ukraine exported 17.1 million tons of scrap metal, down by 15%, or by 3.1 million tons YoY.
In addition to the fall of world metal prices, this resulted in the export revenues decrease by 39% YoY, to $6.4 billion.
Local scrap consumption was on the level of 14.5% of total output, down by 0.5 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
