The Ministry for energy and coal industry initiates the provision of state funds to continue construction works at the Novovolynskaya #10 mine and to pay salary to miners.
The problem with salary debts to miners has to do with state subsidies to profitless mines. The state wants to strengthen them and make them profitable. This presupposes investments and new ways of management. If this program is carried out by all mine employees – from miners to directors – 2016 will see a considerable decrease in mine losses.
