In 2015 DTEK Dobropolyeugol mined 3.4 million tons of coal of the target 4.7 million tons. Thus the company ended the year with the net loss of 950 million UAH.
In 2016 DTEK plans to invest 600 million UAH into the company development, up by 164 million YoY.
Belozerskaya mine yielded 910 thousand tons of coal, up by 5% from the planned levels. For the first time since 1992 Almaznaya mine yielded 1 million tons of coal.
In 2016 the company has to mine 4.3 million tons. It plans to put 5 new breakage faces with 3.5 million tons of coal into operation. (Ukrainian metal)
