All DTEK Dobropolyeugol mines – Almaznaya, Dobropolskaya, Belitskaya, Pioneer, Novodonetskaya and Belozerskaya – have implemented and are using environment management system according to ISO 14001:2004.
The certificates have been issued by Certification International.
Implementation of the ISO 14001:2004 standard will minimize the industrial impact on the environment.
The certificates have been issued for three years and have to be confirmed each year.
In 5 years DTEK invested 9.3 million UAH into Dobropolyeugol mine environment projects.
In 2011-2015 DTEK Dobropolyeugol paid 19.4 million UAH of environment tax. (Ukrainian metal)
