Ukrpromvenshexpertisa state enterprise says metal companies currently stock low volumes of scrap.
“Scrap stocks at metal warehouses total 25 thousand tons. That’s enough for 3 days, according to the current steel smelting figures. While the regulatory value of stocks is 12 days”, said the company marketing department director Yuri Dobrovolsky.
By the end of November he expects scrap stocks at metal works to fall to 20 thousand tons, and that would be an antirecord for Ukrainian metal industry. (Ukrainian metal)
