According to Vostochny Mining and Processing Works general director Alexander Sorokin, there is a state program to ensure that in 5 years all fuel stations will be 100% provided with uranium.
“From 2008 all our products are sold solely to Energoatom, according to the long-term contract. To meet the demand of Energoatom, we decided to purchase uranium-containing raw materials for processing. This allowed us to increase uranium output”, he said. (Ukrainian metal)
