Zaporozhye Titanium and Magnesium Works, a part of Group DF, has completed the final stage of the EN 9100:2009 quality management audit.
The completion of the audit will allow the company to register in the OASIS database of aerospace products suppliers.
“It will allow us to broaden our sales markets and sell spongy titanium and titanium ingots to the hi-tech companies of the aerospace industry. It would also affect our reputation as the supplier, as well as the product quality and our company productivity”, said ZTMK CEO Vladimir Sivak.
According to Group DF the world market consumes some 160-170 thousand tons o spongy titanium per year. In 2014 ZTMK produced over 7.2 thousand tons of spongy titanium, with more than 9.4 thousand tons of 2013. (Ukrainian metal)
