In January-September Ukraine exported 428.55 thousand tons of steelmaking pig iron, down by 18.3% YoY.
According to the State Fiscal Service, pig iron export revenues fell by 42.4%, to $369.53 million.
The major importers of Ukrainian pig iron in January-September were Italy (28.49%), USA (22.97%) and Turkey (20.26%).
In the give period Ukraine imported 2.82 thousand tons of pig iron worth $984 thousand, down by 37.9% and 51% YoY respectively.
The major suppliers of pig iron were Russia (90.65%) and Germany (7.52%). (Ukrainian metal)
