In January-August Ferrexpo plc, controlling Poltava and Yeristovo Mining and Processing Works, produced 8.67 million tons of pellets, up by 5.1% YoY.
Output of pellets made of the company own ore increased by 3.1%, to 8.3 million tons.
65% iron content pellets output went up by 84.7%, to 7.54 million tons, or 87% of the total volume, including by 82.7%, to 7.17 million tons, made of the company own ore.
Pellets output in the third quarter decreased by 2.4% QoQ, to 2.86 million tons, but of own ore pellets – rose by 0.7%, to 2.8 million tons.
At the same time 65% Fe content pellets output decreased by 4.9%, to 2.48 million tons, including of its own ore – by 1.8%, to 2.42 million tons, while that of 62% pellets rose by 18.1%, to 0.38 million tons.
In September the company saw a new record with the pellets production of its own ore – 0.99 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
