Zaporizhstal has postponed the preparation of the Markusova gorge territory for the converter shop construction.
The works there started in December 2014, but were postponed due to the absence of the necessary objects in the Zaporozhye general layout.
“All the construction works have been stopped, since the city council hasn’t completed the general plan of the city development, which covers the construction of the new road and the improvement of the wastes grounds”, said the company in its statement.
Zaporizhstal has paid for the half of the design works (0.2 million UAH), but cannot go on with construction due to the absence of the necessary project data. (Ukrainian metal)
