The Space Heroes Mine Group has put a new long face into operation. Its industrial reserves are estimated at 561 thousand tons of coal. It is planned to extract 1900 thousand tons of coal per day from this long face. Thus the reserves would last for a year.
“By the mid September the Space Heroes mine has already mined 2 million tons of coal. The Blagodatnaya mine is nearing its annual target of 1.7 million tons. We mine 12.8 thousand tons of coal per day. On the whole this year DTEK Space Heroes Mine Group has mined 3.3 million tons of coal.
From the year start the Mine Group has put 6 long faces into operation and plans to put 2 more by the year-end. The group’s target for 2015 is 4.4 million tons of coal. (Ukrainian metal)
