The largest private energy company of Ukraine – DTEK, owned by Rinat Akhmetov – owes 300 million UAH for coal supplied in 2015, informed coal and energy industry minister Vladimir Demchyshin.
According to him, the company owes 330 million UAH more for the previous years. Fitch says DTEK is facing a default. The company might not have enough money to pay its creditors.
At the end of 2014, Fitch says, DTEK had $341 million, while this year it needs to pay $598 million, with $641 million in 2016. (Ukrainian metal)
