Metinvest Group has finished an overhaul of the sintering machine #1 at the Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works.
According to the Group’s statement, it has invested $220 million into the repairs.
Metinvest plans to erect new gas-treating plants on all 12 sintering machines of Ilyich. Now the base for construction is being prepared. The new desulfurization plant will be put into operation in March 2017. The cost of the gas-treating plants exceeds 600 million UAH. (Ukrainian Metal)
